The Red and the Black – Europe at the 1821 Congress of Ljubljana
The Administrative Library has provided the City Museum of Ljubljana with the diary of writer Heinrich Costa on a short-term loan in order to feature in the exhibition "The Red and the Black – Europe at the 1821 Congress of Ljubljana."
The loaned item, which is officially described as the "Diary kept during the Congress of Ljubljana by Heinrich Costa" is the only known copy of Heinrich Costa's original diary, which is considered to have been lost. The copy was produced by Chrisant Albert Ritter von Franken, and was made in Ljubljana in 1821.
