Duties and designations of the Federal Ministries are established on the basis of the Amended Ministerial Law,  last updated on 18 July 2022.

On 18 July 2022 the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs was dissolved. 
The digital/egovernment agendas, previously belonging to the Federal Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs, was taken over by the Federal Ministry of Finance. 
The economic agendas, previously belonging to the Federal Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs, was taken over by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy. 
The tourism agendas, previously belonging to the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Regions and Tourism, was taken over by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy.
